Young Graduate, a program dedicated to Africa
Are you a young African graduate with a Master’s degree (or equivalent), aged 26 or under, looking to gain your first enriching professional experience with an international dimension? Are you interested in the energy sector? The Young Graduate programme is made for you.
Led by the Africa Directorate of TotalEnergies’ Marketing & Services business segment, the Young Graduate programme has been in place since 2014 and each year offers around 80 young African graduates a 18‑month professional development pathway.
The programme is structured in two phases:
- 6 months of professional experience within a subsidiary in the graduate’s country of origin, aligned with their field of study
- 12 months of international exposure in another country, enabling participants to develop new skills and gain valuable cross-cultural experience
Since its launch, over 700 young graduates have benefited from this programme, designed to enhance their employability. At the end of the programme, 71% of participants are recruited on permanent or fixed-term contracts.
