At TotalEnergies, we make sure that your mental and physical health is protected, wherever you are located. Throughout your career, you will have personal health check-ups that take account of the risks you are exposed to in your position, in line with the recommendations of our occupational health and accident prevention teams. You are entitled to regular medical examinations, unless specific local situations or regulations provide otherwise. For expatriate postings, whether you are alone or accompanied, your whole family will have a health check-up.

Worldwide coverage
We harmonize our medical practices to ensure the same level of cover and care in all our host countries. In Africa, for example, we have opened four clinics—in Gabon, the Republic of the Congo, Angola and Nigeria—which are open to all our local employees and their families. Our healthcare is tailored to the context of the regions in which our entities and affiliates are operating. They take account of the major local social, economic, legal and cultural factors, as well as national public health programs: pandemics, vaccination campaigns, the fight against communicable and non-communicable diseases (obesity, diabetes, hypertension, addictions, etc.). We also partner various national health programs, such as Pink October and Movember.

Global doctors!
The doctors in our international medical department oversee the operational medical logistics in our host countries. This includes running medical departments, providing medical attention and assistance to expatriate employees and their families, auditing medical operations, performing health assessments and managing evacuations. A medical coordinator adapts and steers our entire prevention strategy in liaison with various committees of experts and health contacts.
Give you the possibility to take care of your family
We give you time to look after your family. For the arrival of a child (birth or adoption), we provide leave of at least 14 weeks for the first parent and 2 weeks for the second parent with 100% retention of their basic salary (subject to more protective local measures) We have a neutral concept of families, meaning that these measures apply regardless of the make-up of your family, including for same-sex couples. When you return from your childcare leave, we also guarantee an increase equal to the average of individual increases received over the last three years.
